A: Yes! These shorts were designed for the water. The fabric is microfibre polyester so if you get the shorts wet, they will be dry by the time you recite the Star Spangled Banner! They also have an inside full liner so they will not become transparent if wet.
Q: Is the sizing standard US men's sizing? How long are they?
A: Yes, the sizing is regular US men's but be sure to check your waist measurements before ordering. The waistband is fitted and they do not stretch, so if you think you need a little extra room then order a size up! These boardshorts should hit just below the knee for most people. If you are as tall as Abraham Lincoln (he was 6'4") the shorts may hit mid-knee!

The engineering in this short is amazing! The front features a tie up drawstring cord and a velcro fly to keep your shorts securely on your waist. In the event of a wardrobe malfunction, the fly also has a piece of fabric to keep your private areas private so no one gets a look at the goods. The cargo pocket is deep enough to safely hold your keys, cell phone, cards, etc. The pocket also secures closed with velcro so your goods will stay safe. Just be sure to empty your pockets before jumping in the pool!
The waistband and fabric is not forgiving on these boardshorts so if you prefer to wear your shorts on your hips rather than your proper waist, be sure to order a size up! If you are unsure of your proper waist size then you should measure yourself before you click that buy button. Although returns are usually accepted, that is less time you could be spending wearing these amazing shorts! If you usually wear a size 32 waist pant, it is probably a good idea to order one size up. Don't not try to squeeze into shorts that will be tight, that is an extreme party foul!
